Recipe for Lahori Murg Choley
Ingredients
- Chick Pea 1/2 kg
- Chicken Meat 12 pieces 1 kg
- Red lentils (Daal Masoor) 100 gm
- Salt to taste
- Crushed Red Chili 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder 1 tsp
- Crushed Black Pepper 4 tsp
- All spice Powder 1/2 tsp
- Garlic and Ginger Paste 1 tbs
- Oil 250 ml
Cooking Directions
Soak chick pea and lentils over night.
Take a medium size cooking pot, boil the Chick pea and lentils in it till soft and tender.
Heat a medium size cooking pot, pour oil, as the oil heats up, add ginger and garlic paste, stir it for couple of minutes.
Now add chicken meat, stir fry till the chicken turns whitish in color.
Add boiled chick pea and lentils, add red chili crushed, coriander powder, crushed black pepper, all spice powder, salt, stir it for some minutes.
Cook it till the chicken meat and the spices are well combined.
Remove it from the heat.
Serve it hot with hot Naan bread or rice.
