Recipe for Aloo Pakora
Ingredients
- 500 gm potatoes
- 2 Cups gram flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp red chilli, crushed
- 1 tsp mango powder
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
Wash and peel potatoes. Cut potatoes into thin round slices.
In a small bowl, combine gram flour with water,cumin, red chili powder, mango powder and salt.
Make a smooth batter of thick consistency.
Heat oil in a deep pan or karahi.
Dip each slice of potato in this batter.
Turn to coat evenly.
Fry one by one for 10-12 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
