Recipe for Matka Ghosht
Ingredients
- 1 kg — Mutton
- 1 tsp — Ginger paste
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp — Cumin seed
- 1 tbsp — Garam masala
- 1 tsp — Garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp — Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp — Flour mix in
- 1 tbsp –Red chili powder
- 1 large — Onion
- 1/2 cup — of water to make a paste.
- Green chilies and fresh coriander leaves for garnishing.
Cooking Directions
Heat up oil in a Fry-pan or a clay wok(karahi) or pot.
Mix thinly sliced-Onion and fry till golden-brown.
keep together Mutton and fry it for few-minutes.
now mix ginger & garlic-paste and cook meat in it about 5 min or until it leaves oil.
keep together all the spices without garam masala & flour.
cook it for few more minutes.
Put three glasses of water & leave for cooking it until the meat tenders.
cook now more few minutes until it leaves oil.
When the meat is tender then mix the flour paste.
Put 1- cup water and cook more 10 minutes.
Matka gosht or Kunna is ready to be served.
Garnish with green-chilies and coriander-leaves.
Serve hot with tandoori naan
