The Election Commission has issued the final list of the contesting candidates (16,692) for the National and Provincial Assemblies. A total of 16692 candidates will contest for the National and Provincial Assemblies. For the general seats of National Assembly 4671 candidates are in the run while for the Provincial Assemblies 10958 candidates will contest.

 

 

For the seats reserved for women 258 candidates are in the run for National Assembly while 559 will contest for the Provincial Assemblies. For the seats reserved for non-Muslims 71 candidates are in the run for National Assembly while 175 will contest for Provincial Assemblies.
