Recipe for Deep Fried Coconut Prawn Boll

Ingredients

  • Prawns ½ kg
  • Egg 1
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Worchester sauce 1 tbsp
  • Ginger 1 medium piece
  • Coconut powder 1 cup
  • Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 2 – 3
  • Spring onion 1
  • Oil for fry
  • Capsicum chopped half
  • Carrot chopped 1 medium piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder ¼ tsp

Cooking Directions

Wash 1/2 kg prawns and chop them in a food processor together with 1 spring onion, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 egg, 2 tbsp corn flour, salt as required and 1/4 tsp black pepper powder.

Add ½ chopped capsicum, 1 piece of ginger,1 piece chopped
carrot and 2-3 chopped green chilies to the prawn mixture and mix well

Spread the coconut powder on a plate.

Shape the prawn mixture into medium sized dumplings and dredge in the coconut powder.

Deep fry the prawn balls until golden brown.

Serve with ketchup or your favorite dip.
