Recipe for Chicken Pakoray


  • Boneless Chicken (cubes) 500 gm
  • Gram Flour (Besan) 2 tbsp
  • Rice Flour 2 tbsp
  • Corn Flour 2 tbsp
  • Plain Flour 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Red Chilli 1 tsp
  • Chopped Coriander Seeds 1 tsp
  • Roasted Chopped White Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Finely Chopped Onion Half Cup for half kg
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhania) 1 tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Green Chillies 2 or 3

Cooking Directions

Put gram flour, rice flour, corn flour and plain flour in a bowl.

Then add chopped red chilly & chopped coriander seeds.
Add white cumin seeds and salt in the above mixture.

Add turmeric and then add egg. Mix all the ingredients.

Add the finely chopped onion, green chili and coriander leaves.Mix well.

Now add the chicken pieces in the mixture. Deep fry every piece in low flame.

Tip: If the mixture is not coating the chicken pieces, add 1 - 2 tablespoon water.
