Recipe for Schezwan Prawns
Ingredients
- Prawns 200 gm
- Sauce 2 tbsp
- Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
- Garlic chutney sauce 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
- Capsicum 1
- Carrot 1
- Green shallots 2
- Whole red chilies 6 to 8
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Clean the prawns and wash them.
Then cut slits in prawns about ½ cm apart.
Pour oil in a deep pan, add chopped ginger and garlic, also add prawns to it.
Now chop capsicum, red chilies, carrot, green shallots leaves and put them in the pan.
Add black pepper, white pepper, sauce, garlic chutney and ketchup.
Then add half cup of water and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes.
Now add water and corn flour mixture to thicken the sauce.
The delicious prawns are ready.
Garnish it with thin slices of green chili and ginger.
Tip:Dry the pan before pouring ghee into it, otherwise the ghee will sizzle.
