Recipe for Chicken And Vegetable Dum Biryani
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- 300 gm chicken
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 2 tbsp garlic paste
- ½ cup onion paste
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 4 whole red chilies
- 1 & ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp turmeric
- Salt (to taste)
- 2 tbsp red chili powder
- 2/3 tsp mace powder
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander
- 2 tbsp mint
- 300gm yogurt
- 2 green chilies
- 1 & ½ cup water
- Ingredients for Rice :
- 1 & ½ liter water
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt (As needed)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 3 cup basmati rice
- Ingredients for Assembling:
- Cooked vegetables and chicken
- Boiled rice
- 1 tsp saffron
- 1 tbsp coriander (fresh)
- 1 tbsp mint
- ¾ cup fried onions
- 1 prepared dough
- 1 tsp saffron (again)
- Almonds chopped
Cooking Directions
Directions for chicken:
Take a cooking pan, add cooking oil, boneless chicken, mix vegetables, garlic paste, onion paste, garam masala, whole red chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric, salt, red chili powder, mace powder, fresh coriander, fresh mint, yogurt, green chilies and water.
Let it cook.
Directions for rice:
Add water in a cooking pan.
Then add cooking oil, salt, cumin, basmati rice & cook until ¾ done.
Directions for Assembling:
In a cooking pan, add cooked chicken, cooked vegetables, soaked rice, saffron, coriander, mint, fried onions and cover with a dough.
Apply saffron, spread crushed almonds, then oven bake at 180°c for 15-20 minutes.
Cut the dough and serve.
