Recipe for Chana Pulao
Ingredients
- Rice 500g
- Chickpea (Boiled) 300g
- Cooking Oil ½ cup
- Onion 1 piece
- White Cumin 1 tsp
- Whole Hot Spices 1 tbsp
- Green Chili 2 pieces
- Ginger & Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Tomato 2 pieces
- Salt as per taste
- Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
- Plum 10g
- Cumin Powder 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder 1 tsp
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Ginger 5g
- Green Coriander 5g
- Mint 5g
- Hot Water as per needed
Cooking Directions
In a cooking pot, add cooking oil, onion, cumin, whole hot spices, green chili and fry until brown.
Now add, ginger garlic paste, tomato, salt, red chili powder, plum, cumin powder, coriander powder, yogurt, boiled chickpea, ginger, mint, green coriander and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Now add water in it and boil until water remains half.
Afterward, add rice and cook it and steam.
In the end, add ginger, green coriander, mint for garnish.
Your tasty Chana Pulao is ready to serve.
