Recipe for Hyderabadi Chicken Korma

Ingredients

  • Chicken 600g
  • Cooking Oil 4tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 ½ tbsp
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Whole Cumin 1 tsp
  • Green Chili 2 pieces
  • Green Cardamom 3 pieces
  • Black Cardamom 3 pieces
  • Tomato 3 pieces
  • Yogurt 1 tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder ½ tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander Crushed 1 tsp
  • Chicken Stock half cup
  • Plum 10 g
  • Green Chili, Green Coriander, Ginger for garnishing

Cooking Directions

In a bowl, add chicken, cooking oil, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and mix it well then keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

In a cooking pan, add cooking oil, marinated chicken and deep fry for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

In another cooking pan, add cooking oil, onion, whole cumin, green chili, green cardamom, black cardamom, ginger garlic paste, tomato, yogurt, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, coriander crushed and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Next, add chicken stock and steam it for 4-5 minutes.

Afterward, add plum, fried chicken, garnishing and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Next, add chicken stock and steam it for 2-3 minutes.

Your tasty Hyderabadi Chicken Korma now ready to serve.
