Recipe for Anjeer Ka Halwa
Ingredients
- Anjeer 300g (dry figs washed & soaked in hot water till gets soft)
- Suji 150g (Semolina)
- Khoya 250g
- Sugar 250g
- Kewra water 2 tbsp
- Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
- Almonds 10 (sliced)
- Pistachios 15 (sliced)
- Ghee, oil or butter 250g
Cooking Directions
Discard the water from the anjeer, place the anjeer in a chopper and blend till smooth.
Heat ghee add suji and fry till gets golden on high flame.
Then add sugar and mix well, add anjeer and mix this well too, cook it on low to medium flame till the liquid of the sugar dries.
Now add khoya, kewra water, green cardamom power mix well.
Add the nuts mix well (keep little nuts for garnishing).
Garnish with remaining nuts & serve hot or warm.
