Recipe for Jhat Pat Chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg (16 pieces)
- Oil ½ cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Red chili 1 tsp (powder)
- Mustard powder 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
- Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Water 1/2 cup
- For Sauce:
- Orange color a pinch
- Onion 1 (cut into rings)
- Capsicum 1 (cut into rings)
- Tomato 1 (cut into rings)
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Water 1 cup
Cooking Directions
Marinate chicken with salt, black pepper, red chili powder, ginger garlic, mustard powder, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup.
Heat oil in pan, add marinated chicken and fry for 5 minutes.
Add water, cover and cook till chicken half done.
For Sauce:
Then add all the ingredients for sauce with water, cover and let it cook till done.
Lastly add vegetables, simmer for 5 minutes.
