Recipe for Veggie Mozzarella Sndwich
Ingredients
- 3 Slices of Bread
- Olive oil for brushing
- Fresh Mozzarella, (cut into thin slices)
- Veggie Filling:
- 1 tbsp yogurt(drain out water)
- Chilli sauce
- shredded lettuce
- shredded cucumber
- chopped tomatoes
- Salt to taste
- black pepper to taste.
Cooking Directions
Mix all veggies with yogurt and chilli sauce, add salt/ pepper.
Generously brush olive oil on both sides of bread.
Spread the thinly sliced fresh mozzarella on one slice of bread.
Put the bread slices in pre-heated oven until cheese starts to melt and bread becomes light golden,
Turn the bread slice and spread the veggies cover it with the mozzarella bread slice and then the last slice of bread.
Bake for 2-3 minutes till golden.
Cut the sandwich into 2 and serve with leftover veggie mix or any sauce of your choice.
