Recipe for Tarkay Walay Chawal
Ingredients
- ½ kg rice
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp oil
Cooking Directions
Soak ½ kg rice for half an hour.
In a pan, heat 4 tbsp oil and saute a chopped onion in it.
Then add 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tsp turmeric powder and stir well.
Now add soaked rice, 1 ½ glass water and 1 tsp salt and allow cooking on medium flame.
When water has evaporated, allow simmering for 15 minutes.
Delicious Tarka Chawal is ready
