Recipe for Gazzelle’s Horns
Ingredients
- White flour 300 gm
- Egg white 1
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
- For filling:
- Almonds 1/2 cup
- Icing sugar 1/2 cup
- Egg yolk 1
- Cinnamon powder 1 pinch
- Honey 2 tbsp
- Butter 3 to 4 tbsp
Cooking Directions
In a mixing bowl add 300 gm white flour, 1 egg white, 2 tbsp butter and salt to taste and knead it to form dough.
Now roll it with rolling pin and cut in spherical shape.
For filling:
In a mixing bowl mix 1/2 cup almond, 1/2 cup icing sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1 pinch cinnamon powder, 2 tbsp honey and 3 to 4 tbsp butter to mix.
Now place the filling on dough and brush the egg on edges and fold them in the shape of half moon.
In pan heat oil and fry them. Remove and sprinkle icing sugar on top and serve.
