Recipe for Prawn Palak
Ingredients
- Prawn ½ kg
- Spinach 1 bunch
- Green chilies 4 – 5
- Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Yogurt 125 gm
- Nutmeg mace powder ½ tsp
- Cardamoms ground ½ tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil ¼ cup
Cooking Directions
Heat ¼ cup oil in a wok, add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and ½ kg prawns.
Fry well and keep aside.
Remove the fried prawn from oil and keep aside.
In the same wok add 1 bunch of chopped spinach, 4 – 5 green chilies, ¼ bunch of coriander leaves and 125 gm yogurt.
Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.
Now add ½ tsp nutmeg mace powder, ½ tsp cardamom powder, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp all spice powder, ½ tsp turmeric and salt to taste.
Fry well till water dries.
Lastly add fried prawns and mix well. Dish it out and serve hot.
