Recipe for Semolina Lemon Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- Semolina 200 gm
- Egg 3
- Baking powder 1 tbsp
- Sugar 200 gm
- Lemon skin 1 tsp
- Almond 100 gm
- Milk 125 ml
- Butter 150 gm
- Lemon juice ¼ cup
- Sugar ½ cup
- Vanilla essence few drops
- Cooking chocolate 200 gm
Cooking Directions
Grind 100 gm almonds and keep aside.
In a bowl mix together ground almond, 200 gm semolina, 1 tsp lemon skin and 1 tbsp baking powder. Mix well.
In another bowl beat together 200 gm sugar and 150 gm butter.
Add in 3 eggs one by one altering with semolina-flour mixture.
Continue to beat till smooth mixture is formed.
Pour batter in a cake mold, bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes.
In a pan put together sugar, lemon juice, 200 gm cooking chocolate and few drops of vanilla essence.
Cook till sugar is dissolved.
Spread chocolate syrup on top of cake and serve.
