Recipe for Chili Cauliflower
Ingredients
- Cauliflower ½ kg remove flowers
- Flour 3 tbsp
- Corn flour 3 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp leveled
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Chili sauce 3 tbsp
- Ketchup ½ cup
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Honey 2 tbsp
- Green chilies 4 slit length wise
- Garlic crushed 1 tsp heaped
- Chopped coriander 2 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
Cooking Directions
Mix flour, corn flour and salt, add ¼ cup water to make batter so that it coats the cauliflower.
Cut cauliflower into small florets, dip each piece in the batter and deep fry into a golden brown color on medium heat.
Heat ¼ cup oil in a wok, add crushed garlic, green chilies, fry for 1 minute.
Add ketchup, vinegar, chili sauce, soya sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, crushed red pepper and honey, mix well.
Add fried cauliflower, coriander leaves, mix well and serve hot.
