Recipe for Feerni With Caramel Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 liter Fresh milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 6 Green cardamom
- 10 Boiled and chopped almond
- 15 Boiled and chopped pistachio
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Gram lentils
- 4 tbsp Rice
- for Caramel
- 2 tbsp Water
- 4 tbsp Sugar
Cooking Directions
Grind together 6 green cardamoms and 1 tsp sugar.
In pan put together ground green cardamoms and 1 liter milk.
Cook till thickens. Now grind finely 4 tbsp soaked rice add to the boiling milk.
Also add in 1 cup sugar and mix well.
Cook well till mixture thickens, remove from fire, pour in an earthenware dish and leave it till firm.
Spread boiled almond and pistachios on top.
Cook together 4 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp water to make caramel sauce.
Pour on top of feerni.
