Recipe for Orange Caramel Pudding
Ingredients
- Milk½ litre
- Egg 4
- Sugar 125 gm
- Orange skin 1 tsp
- Orange pulp ¼ cup
- Vanilla essence few drops
- Sugar 4 tbsp
- Aluminum foil as required
Cooking Directions
Put 4 tbsp sugar in a mold, cook till sugar is melted and its color turn to golden brown.
Remove from fire and keep aside.
In a bowl blend together ½ liter milk, 4 egg, 1 tsp orange skin, ¼ cup orange pulp, 4 tbsp sugar and few drops of vanilla essence. Mix well.
Pour mixture in in the mold on top of caramel. Cover with a piece of aluminum foil.
Put in a steamer for 20 – 25 minutes.
Then remove from steamer, keep aside to cool.
Now unmold the pudding and serve.
