Recipe for Apple Murabba
Ingredients
- Apple 1 kg
- Water as required (mix little salt)
- Sugar 4 cup
- Saffron 1 tsp
- Cardamom 2 tsp
- Rose water as required
Cooking Directions
Put apple in water with 1 1/2 tsp salt for 10 to 15 minutes.
Then take it out from salted water and put in simple pure water.
Now add water in a pan and boil apple on low flame.
Mix saffron in little water.
When apple becomes slightly tender then mix saffron in apple mixture and cook for a while.
Now add sugar and cook approximately for 30 to 40 minutes.
Then remove it from the flame and let it cool.
Repeat this same process for 3 days once a day.
Finally add cardamom and rose water and serve.
