Recipe for Dry Fruit Tarts

Ingredients

  • Egg yolk 1
  • Butter 112 gram
  • Refined flour 168 grams
  • Caster sugar 56 grams
  • Vanilla essence few drops Ingredients for filling
  • Eggs 2
  • Pistachios (chopped) 1tbsp
  • Walnut (chopped) 1tbsp
  • Cinnamon ¼ tsp
  • Raisins 2 tbsp
  • Orange rind (grated) 2tbsp
  • Almonds (cut) 2tbsp
  • Glazed red cherries 2tbsp
  • Glazed Green cherries 2tbsp
  • Salinas 2tbsp
  • Jam 3 tbsp

Cooking Directions

Beat butter. Sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl till frothy.

Add egg yolk and beat.

Fold in refined flour.

Knead into soft dough; roll out.

With the help of a cutter cut into a rounds and place on a muffin tray.

Mix raisins, orange rind, walnuts, red and green cherries sultanas, pistachios, cinnamon, almonds and eggs in a bowl.

Put 1tsp of mixture on each tart. Bake in pre-heated oven at 108 C for 20 minutes.

Apply jam on sides of each tart; garnish with pistachios and serve
