Recipe for Chicken Haleem
Ingredients
- Crushed wheat (gahow ka dalia) 1/2 kg
- (soaked for 1/2 hr.)
- Green chillies 2-3
- Haldi 1tb.sp
- For Korma
- Chicken 1/2 kg (boneless)
- Chicken cube 1-2
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tb.sp
- Shan korma masala 1 packet
- Onion (slices) 2-3m
- Oil 1 c
- For Bigar
- Oil 1/2 c
- Onion (slices) 1m
- For Garnish:
- green chillies 2-3 fine slices
- chat masala
- mint leaves 1/2 c
- coriander leaves 1/2 c
- lemons
- all spices powder
Cooking Directions
Boil wheat with haldi n chillies and bland the mixture well.
In pressure cooker saute onions light brown, and add chicken n ginger garlic paste n fry throughly.
Now add shan masala n 2-3 cups water n pressure it for 20-15 min.
When chicken is tender mash it with masher, korma is ready.
Now add the korma to the wheat mixture with constant stirring.
Add chicken cubes now.
Cook till desired consistency occurs.
Add salt if requried.
Now make a bhagar.
Serve hot with garnishes.
