Recipe for Mirchi Masala
Ingredients
- Big green chilies 6 – 7
- Lemon (juice) 2
- Dry mango powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder ½ tsp
- Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
- Chaat masala ½ tsp
- Chili powder ½ tsp
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp chaat masala, ½ tsp chili powder, ¼ tsp turmeric and salt to taste.
Fry well adding a little water, slit 6 – 7 big green chilies.
Stuff chilies with a little masala, put stuffed chilies in the remaining masala.
Cover and simmer on low flame for 2 – 3 minutes.
Lastly dish it out, sprinkle lemon juice on top. Serve hot.
