Recipe for Aloo Pakora Chaat

Ingredients

  • Potatoes 4
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Soda bi carbonate1 tsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Red chili flakes1 tbsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Yogurt ½ kg
  • Fresh milk 1 small packet
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Tamarind paste:
  • Tamarind 250 gm
  • Grinded sonth 2 tbsp
  • Red chili flakes1tbsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Jiggery 2 tbsp
  • Black salts pinch

Cooking Directions

Take out paste of tamarind and add in 2 tbsp sonth, 1 tbsp red chili flakes, 1 tsp roasted and crushed cumin and 2 tbsp jiggery. Cook it.

When the jaggery dissolves, remove it from the stove and add in 1 pinch black salt.

Take ½ kg yogurt and add in 2 tbsp corn flour, 1 small packet milk, ½ cup sugar and some salt. Beat everything together.

Take 1 cup gram flour in the bowl along with 1 egg, 1 tsp yogurt, 1 tso soda bi carbonate, some salt, 1 tbsp red chili flakes, 1 tsp roasted and crushed cumin, 4 chopped green chilies and some luke warm water. Beat everything together.
Slice 4 potatoes.

Take some oil in the pan and dip the potato slices in the gram flour paste and deep fry them till they are golden brown.

Take a big bowl and add in yogurt then add in fried potatoes.

In the end, add in yogurt, tamarind chutney. Serve the chaat with mint chutney.
