Recipe for Paneer Chunkies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of paneer cubes. Cut in equal sizes
  • ½ tbsp. of ginger paste
  • ½ tbsp. of garlic paste
  • Pepper- ½ tbsp.
  • Lemon to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil- for frying
  • Regular flour- 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour-2 tbsp
  • ½ cup of water
  • Salt to taste for batter

Cooking Directions

First of all mix paneer cubes, ginger and garlic paste, salt and pepper together. Add lemon on it. Let this mix sit for a while. This is called marinating.

Marinate it for minimum 15 minutes to let the lemon flavor incorporate the paneers and give it a spicy tangy flavor.

Then mix the 2 flours, all purpose and corn flour. Add water to it to make it like a medium thin batter. Add salt to taste.

Dip each paneer cubes in this batter and on other side start heating the oil in a container.

Fry each of the paneer cubes in oil, and let it sit on medium flame till crispy golden brown color.

Serve hot with masala tea or raita, chutneys, ketchup according to taste.
