Recipe for Golgappa Chaat
Ingredients
- Golgappa- 8-10 pieces
- Potatoes- 4 (boiled)
- Onions- 2 (finely chopped)
- Tomatoes- 2 (finely chopped)
- Green chillies- 2-4 (finely chopped)
- Curd- 2tbsp
- Tamarind pulp- 2tbsp
- Coriander chutney-1tbsp
- Chaat masala- 1tsp
- Garam masala- ½ tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Black salt- a pinch
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- For garnishing
- Coriander leaves- 2tbs (chopped)
- Sev- 4tbsp
- Onion- 2tsp (finely chopped)
Cooking Directions
In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes with a spoon.
Take a plate.
Break the golgappas a little for stuffing potatoes. Stuff the mashed potatoes and then place the golgappas in the plate.
Now spread chopped onions, tomatoes and green chillies over it.
With a spoon, pour the curd and then sprinkle all the spices namely red chilli powder, garam masala and chaat masala.
Then sprinkle salt and black salt over the golgappas.
Golgappa chaat is ready. Garnish with sev, onions and coriander leaves. Serve it immediately.
