Recipe for Chandan Ka Sharbat

Ingredients

  • 100 gm sandalwood (chandan ka chura)
  • sandalwood (chandan) essence
  • 1 tsp potassium meta bi sulphate
  • 4 big glasses water
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 tsp orange food color
  • A pinch of salt

Cooking Directions

Soak the chandan in water for 8-10 hours. Pass through the sieve and keep aside.

Boil it by adding sugar in it.Boil till one sugar syrup strand.

Let the sharbat cool and then add color, essence and potassium meta bi sulphate.

Fill it in an air tight bottle and enjoy with chilled water.
