Recipe for Cabbage and Potato fry
Ingredients
- Cabbage-350 gms
- Chopped potato- 2(medium)
- Tomato-1
- Garam msalaa-1/2 tsp
- Chili flakes-1tsp
- Mango powder(or lemon juice)-1 tsp
- Turmeric-1/2tsp
- Sugar-a pinch of
- Salt-1 tsp
- Tempering-
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Cumin-1/4 tsp
- Fenugreek -1/4 tsp
- Fennel seeds-a pinch of
- Asafoetida-1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves-8
- Green chilies-2
- Oil-3tbsp
Cooking Directions
Shred cabbage and chop potato and tomato in small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan ,add the tempering, when seeds start cracling add curry leaves and chopped green chilies.
Add turmeric, chopped potato and cabbage.
Stir fry for a minute ,add salt and cover and cook on slow flame.
When done, add all the spices and chopped tomato. Mix and cover and cook for a minute. Add fresh coriander and enjoy.
