Recipe for Seviyan
Ingredients
- Vermicelli-1 cup
- Milk-3 cup
- Sugar-1/4 cup
- Chopped almonds-few
- Raisins- few
- Green Cardamom (crushed)-2
Cooking Directions
In a non stick pan , dry roast vermicelli on low heat for 5 minutes.
Boil milk in a vessel , add crushed cardamom and roasted vermicelli in it.
Let it cook for 5 minutes till vermicelli are tender.
Add sugar and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add chopped nuts. Serve hot or chilled.
