Recipe for Cashew Chicken Chinese

Ingredients

  • Chicken (Boneless) ½ kg/baghair hadi ke chicken
  • Peas (boiled) ½ cup/ ubly huwe matar
  • Mushrooms (cut) ½ cup/ khumbian
  • Chicken stock 1 cup/yakhni
  • Spring onions (finely cut) stalks/bareek kati huwi hari piyaz
  • Saya sauce 3 tbsp/ soya sauce
  • Cornflour 2tbsp/ meda
  • Sugar ½ tsp/ chini
  • Salt to taste/ hasbe zaiqa namak
  • Oil ¼ cups/ tail
  • Cashew nuts (fried) 100 grams/taly huwe kaaju.

Cooking Directions

Mix Soya sauce, Corn flour, Sugar and salt in a bowl.

Heat oil in a pot and fry chicken till it changes color.

Add peas, mushrooms and stock and cook for minutes.

Add mixture of soya sauce, corn flour, sugar and salt in a chicken and cook till it thickens.

Garnish with spring onions and cashew nuts and serve.
