Recipe for Cashew Chicken Chinese
Ingredients
- Chicken (Boneless) ½ kg/baghair hadi ke chicken
- Peas (boiled) ½ cup/ ubly huwe matar
- Mushrooms (cut) ½ cup/ khumbian
- Chicken stock 1 cup/yakhni
- Spring onions (finely cut) stalks/bareek kati huwi hari piyaz
- Saya sauce 3 tbsp/ soya sauce
- Cornflour 2tbsp/ meda
- Sugar ½ tsp/ chini
- Salt to taste/ hasbe zaiqa namak
- Oil ¼ cups/ tail
- Cashew nuts (fried) 100 grams/taly huwe kaaju.
Cooking Directions
Mix Soya sauce, Corn flour, Sugar and salt in a bowl.
Heat oil in a pot and fry chicken till it changes color.
Add peas, mushrooms and stock and cook for minutes.
Add mixture of soya sauce, corn flour, sugar and salt in a chicken and cook till it thickens.
Garnish with spring onions and cashew nuts and serve.
