Recipe for PUMPKIN SPICE SCONE
Ingredients
- 180 gms plain flour (maida)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp soda-bi-carb
- 60 gms butter
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup boiled & crushed pumpkin
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp roasted & crushed almonds
- 2-3 tbsp butter milk
- 2 tbsp milk
Cooking Directions
Mix all the ingredients except butter milk properly.
Add butter milk gradually & prepare soft dough.
Take a big butter paper & sprinkle dry flour.
Sprinkle dry flour over prepared dough as well.
Roll the dough using hands over a butter paper.
Brush the dough with milk & stick few almonds.
Cut into pieces with knife.
Grease & dust the baking tray.
Put the slices in a tray.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 150 C for 15-20 mins.
Check once after 15 mins, if pinck take out.
Mix icing sugar, pumpkin spice & milk.
Drizzle it over scones & serve.
