Recipe for Orange Kulfi

Ingredients

  • 1 lt. full cream milk
  • 1 gms saffron
  • 20 gms chopped pistachios
  • 30 gms chopped almonds
  • 150 gms sugar
  • 1 orange

Cooking Directions

Add sugar, pistachios, almonds and saffron in full cream milk and cook till the milk is reduced to one-fourth of its original quantity to form a granular consistency. Keep it for cooling.

Now, slice above portion of orange and scoop out inner pulp very gently.

Pour the mixture into orange mold and distribute evenly. Close the opening with orange cap.

Keep above preparation in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Take out the preparation from refrigerator and remove orange cap.

Garnish it with orange pieces. To have added flavour, garnish with sweetening syrups. Enjoy.
