Recipe for Nawabi Paneer
Ingredients
- 300 grams cottge cheese
- 1 onion sliced
- 1/2 tsp ginger chopped
- 4 tbsps butter
- 4 tomatoes chopped
- 3 cardamoms crushed
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup milk
- to taste salt
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Cooking Directions
Chop cottage cheese into 2 inch fingers.
Heat half butter. Add onion,ginger, green chilli and cardamom. Fry for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook for 5 more minutes and cover it.
Add curd and cook for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water and cool. Blend in a blender to smooth.
Heat remaining butter, add gravy and other ingredients except milk and cottage cheese.
Boil it.
Before serving, heat gravy, add milk and cottage cheese and boil for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander
