Recipe for Dahi Aloo

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 cup curd
  • 6 tbsps oil
  • 2 tbsps cream
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • to taste salt
  • 1/4 cup green coriander leaves

Cooking Directions

Cut each potato into 4 pieces Heat oil in a pan.

Add potatoes into oil. Fry them till they turn light brown on low flame. Take them out and keep aside

Add turmeric powder, cumin seeds, asafoetida, coriander powder into the same oil then add
curd. Stir well for 3 mins and add salt.

When it start boiling add fried potatoes and cream.

Cook them on low flame for 5 mins. Add garam masala.

Garnish with coriander leaves Serve hot with white boiled rice
