Recipe for Fish Pulao
Ingredients
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 kilo Fish
- 1/2 kilo Rice
- 2 Potatoes (aloo)
- to taste salt
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 6 green Chillies
- 1/2 cup coriander Leaves
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup onion brown
- 1 cup Fenugreek leaves
- 3 tomatoes chopped
Cooking Directions
Wash fish well Soak rice for 1 hour
Heat oil in a pan fry onion till golden and add fenugreek leaves, garlic and all spices
Fry well by sprinkling little water and add chopped tomatoes
Cook for 10mins then add yogurt, potatoes and fish.
Cook for more 10 minutes. Remove fish pieces add whole green chillies and soaked rice along with 2 cups of water.
Cook on high flame till rice cooked and water dries.
Put fish pieces on top and Serve
