Recipe for SAFFRON CHICKEN
Ingredients
- 800 grams Chicken boneless
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 2 bayleaves
- 6 Cloves
- 6 green cardamom
- 3/4 cup Onion Paste
- 2 tbsps Ginger paste
- 2 tbsps Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 5 tbsps cashewnut
- 1 cup yogurt
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp saffron
- 3/4 cup Cream
Cooking Directions
Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add bayleaves,cloves and cardamoms and saute’ until the cardamoms change color
Add onion,ginger and garlic pastes and stir-fry till the oil separates
Add coriander powder and cashewnut paste, stir-fry for 2 mins
Add boneless chicken and cook for 3 mins’
Mix in the yogurt, salt, white pepper and saffron
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the chicken becomes tender
Fold in cream. Serve hot
