Recipe for MUTTON DIL BAHARA
Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo boneless mutton
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 300 grams yogurt
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 pound ginger paste
- 4 tsps red chili powder
- 1 piece ginger root
- 1 tbsp ground coriande
- 1/2 tbsp hot spices powder
- 2 to taste ground cumin
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
- to taste salt
- 1/4 cup mint, finely chopped
Cooking Directions
Wash mutton and remove all excess fat.
Cut into bite size pieces. Heat oil in a pan
Add ginger garlic paste and saute’ for a minure.
Add mutton and cook until its color changes to a golden brown.
Add yogurt in it and cook until all water dries up.
Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt.
Cook for 2 minutes, add 2 glass of water.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Cover with a lid and let it simmer until meat is tender.
Remove the lid and cook on high heat until all water dries up.
Sprinkle hot spices powder on it. Garnish with coriander leaves and mint leaves
