Recipe for JALAIBI
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rice flour
- 2.5 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Maida
- pinch Cream of tartar
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 tbsp Soda
- 1 tbsp Rose water
- 5 Green cardamom
- as required Orange food colour
- as required Saffron
- for frying Oil
Cooking Directions
In a bowl mix maida, rice flour, soda and water.
Keep it at a warm place for overnight.
Mix sugar, water, green cardamom, saffron, cream of tartar and cook till thick syrup.
Deep fry mixture with a help of nozzle.
Fry till light brown and then pour it in syrup.
Remove and let the excess syrup drain out.
Serve hot
