Recipe for PLUM CHUTNEY

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe plums, (de-seeded and chopped)
  • 3 red chillies
  • 1/2 onion , chopped
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • to taste Salt
  • pinch mustard seeds
  • 1 cup Water

Cooking Directions

Heat oil in a pan and fry red chilies and mustard seeds with pan covered.

Add plums, cinnamon powder, vinegar , lime juice and salt . Stir well.

Cook for five minutes and add water and cook until the plums disintegrate.

Add sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Let it cool and store in the fridge. Serve
