Recipe for Crispy & Crunchy Spring Rolls
Ingredients
- For the dough:
- 2 cups maida/ all purpose flour
- '' cup rice flour
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Spring Roll Filling:
- 2 cups cabbage (finely chopped)
- 1 cup onion (finely chopped)
- 2 green chillies (chopped)
- '' tsp ginger paste
- Salt accordingly
- 1 tsp oil
Cooking Directions
To start with, combine all the dough ingredients (except oil) and mix well.
In a thick bottom pan, saute cabbage, onion, chillies, ginger and salt. Cook on simmer until the colour of cabbage changes. Allow it to cool.
Now, make balls of the dough and roll it circularly and evenly.
Add the stuffing on any of the ends and roll the spread.
Cut the long vegetable roll into smallers rolls and fry in oil till golden brown. Tasty spring rolls are ready.
