Recipe for Khasta Paratha
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg plain flour
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp oil or butter
- a pinch of baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- oil for frying
Cooking Directions
In a medium bowl, beat egg with sugar and salt.
In a separate bowl, sift flour.
Pour eggs mixture into the flour.
Add oil.
Knead a soft dough by using water.
Cover the dough with a wet cloth.
Let stand for 2 hours.
Now make parathas out of the dough.
Place paratha on the hot griddle.
Fry in oil or ghee until golden and crispy.
