Recipe for Crispy Semolina Cookies
Ingredients
- 3 Cups - Plain Flour / Maida
- 1 1/4 Cups Sugar
- 1 Cup Butter (softened)
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 tsp crushed Cardamon seeds
- 4 tablespoons Semolina / Suji
- 2 1/2 Tsps Baking powder
- 100 Grams Pistachio''s
- Egg Whites (optional)
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a bowl mix Butter, oil, Sugar until creamy and smooth.
Add the Egg Yolks and beat again. Add Crushed Cardamon Seeds, Semolina, Baking Powder mix again till smooth .
Once smooth slowly add the plain flour/maida little by little. Kneading it till it becomes a dough.
Make small balls....and create a small dent with ur thumb.
Place the dented balls on a greased tray, brush with egg white and put sum crushed pistachio''s on top of the dent.
Bake till golden in colour at 325 Degrees.
