Recipe for Coconut Macaroons
Ingredients
- Sugar – 200gm
- Egg white – 4
- Desiccated coconut – 150gm
- Vanilla essence – few drops
- Plain flour – 1 tsp
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees,gas mark 4. Line a baking sheet with a non stick baking mat or parchment.
Whisk together sugar and egg white in a large bowl. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Form dough into tablespoon mounds, and drop each onto sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake macaroons until golden-brown on bottoms and edges, about 30 minutes. Let cool on sheets for 5 min.
