Recipe for Lal Chutni
Ingredients
- 12 large red chilies
- 1 bulb of garlic
- 1 cup tamarind thick paste
- ½ cup tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp jaggery
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp slightly cooked cumin seeds
Cooking Directions
Soak 12 red chilies overnight. In a blender, add soaked chilies, 1 bulb of garlic, ½ cup tomato ketchup, 1 cup tamarind juice, 1 tbsp jigger, ½ tsp salt and 2 tsp slightly cooked cumin seeds and blend well.
