Recipe for Daal Gosht
Ingredients
- Meat-300 grams (undercut)
- Mong Masoor Daal-150 gram
- Garlic-3 clove
- Tomato-1
- Onion-1
- Ginger-1 medium piece
- Red pepper (whole)-5 to 6
- Turmeric-1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala-1/4 tsp
- Whole cumin-1/2 tsp
- Dried Methi-Little bit
- Coriander-As required
- Salt-As required
- Oil-As required
Cooking Directions
Firstly cook garlic, ginger and oil for 3 to 4 minutes.
After that add onion and meat and cook it for 8 to 10 minutes.
When meat’s water gets evaporate then add mong masoor daal with all the vegetables, masalay and also pour 1 jug of water.
Cook it over medium flame.
After 20 to 25 minutes when daal gets soft, cook it over high flame for 10 minutes.
Finally serve it and garnish it with finely chopped coriander and ginger.
