• 1 6 ounce Package of Strawberry Jello
• 1 quart Fresh strawberries washed, sliced, and drained
• 2 cups Water cool from the tap
• 2 cups Sugar
• 8 tablespoons Corn starch level tablespoons
• 2 Pie crusts
• Cool whip topping

Bake the pie crusts, and let them cool. Distribute the sliced strawberries evenly in each of the crusts, and set aside.

Mix sugar, corn starch, and jello together thoroughly in a medium saucepan.

Add water slowly and mix well. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

Cook about nine minutes, or until mixture thickens to the consistency of almost a pudding.

Let it cool until you can stick your finger in it without burning yourself

Pour the jello mixture over the strawberries and refrigerate until set.

Serve each slice with a generous helping of Cool Whip or whipped cream.
