Registrar of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) – Dr. Amjad Mahmood, has warned the aspiring medical students and their parents, not to enroll at the medical institutions which do not meet the quality standard regulations of PMDC. The Registrar stated during an interview on private Television recently; “PMDC has issued an advertisement in three nationwide newspapers, to warn the Admission-seekers, that they should check the PMDC website before paying the admission fees.
The medical colleges which do not meet the PMDC criteria have been highlighted in a list available on the website. This list clearly states that “Admissions in these medical colleges have been stopped for the year 2013-2014, due to deficiencies in meeting PMDC criteria. All parents and students are advised to clarify about the status of these medical colleges before taking admissions.
