These days you see many former military officers from Army, Navy, and Air Force of Pakistan enjoying the electronic media boom in the country. You will few of them daily jumping from one talk show to the another and then another enlightening the nation with their unending wisdom.
These talk show soldier officers maintain their dislike and contempt for the civilians. They maintain their ridiculing attitude towards the civilian leadership and the civilian talk show participants. They hardly tolerate the anchor of the talk show because they know that he or she is the boss. These officers present solutions to every problem of Pakistan and clearly show that they genuinely believe that civilians are not capable to run the country.
If you want to know what exactly these officers think about the civilians and why exactly they launch Martial laws, you need to hear them in talk shows. Their contempt towards people and their choices is palpable. One such military Plato is AVM (r) Shahid Latif.
