He is Wali-Ullah if he has pardoned the Convicts Fee Sabeel-Lillah! If he has accepted blood money it was his legal right!! “O, ye who believe! the law of equality is prescribed to you. In cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, woman for the woman. But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude. This is a concession and a mercy from your Lord.” Surah Al Baqra (2:178).
Deceased, Shah Zeb’s father must not be condemned in either case. Of course the civil society and media had shown the requisite demonstration against the gruesome murder of young Shah Zeb and everyone had been touched by the heartbreaking occurrence! And it was because of the uproar of the conscience of the people, which brought the result, due to which SCP took action and made possible the delivery of justice!
And the convicts as well as their families also felt power of the people! One thing more, apart from sections; 302/34 PPC, despite the compromise conviction under sections 7 ATA and 13 AO can be sustained by the court!!! Nay, the compromise can’t overcome the court power above all and the court has the power to reject the compromise!!! Anyhow Shah Zeb’s family does not deserve to be condemned, they are already bereaved!!!
